Dave and Karen Paton have been a husband and wife photographic team for over twenty years. Their photographic careers began when they graduated from the Queensland College of Art. Together they combine both experience and artistic imagination to create images that will bring joy for a lifetime. In the relaxed atmosphere of their studio at Chandler they specialize in portraits and weddings.
Clients are able to choose from a variety of different Portrait styles, backgrounds and themes. Being spacious, the studio is able to accommodate large groups - frequently up to 35 people have come in for extended family portraits with several generations. Set in five acres of natural gardens and trees, there are many opportunities for outside photography. Props such as old tractors, carts and bikes are often incorporated into poses. Photography is such an important part of any wedding day and Dave and Karen are totally dedicated throughout each wedding shoot. Their years of experience are your guarantee that your wedding will be photographed with competency, reliability and the attention to detail that transforms a photograph into a creative masterpiece.
Dave has been awarded many accolades for his photography. He has been awarded the title of Master of Photography from both the Australian and New Zealand Institutes of Photography. A member of the AIPP, PPAQ and PIM. Dave is consistently winning awards for his images through the APPA system. He has served as a council member and vice president for the AIPP (Qld) and his knowledge and expertise have created demand for him as an industry speaker and a lecturer at the Queensland College of Art.
